Uma Thurman was outraged of her near death experience
at the Kill Bill movie shooting. Thurman claimed that she was forced to do the
scene even though it was not safe.
The well-known versatile actress, Uma Thurman, was furious about her near death experience during the shooting of her movie, Kill Bill.
According to Thurman, after knowing that the car is now functioning well, she asked for a stuntman to do the scene for her but she was forced by the Director to drive the car herself insisting that it is totally safe even though it’s not.
Thurman shared a clip of the scene on
her social media account showing her driving the car so fast and losing control
and crashing it on a tree. It can be seen in the video that Thurman was
severely hurt as the crew team helped her out of the destroyed car.
She can still remember very well the pain and the agony that she has to go through. She got injuries in her neck, a broken knee and a dilapidation in the head, making her afraid that she might not be able to walk again. This incident made it difficult for Thurman to work again.
Further, Thurman said that she requested to see the car and the video clip showing the accident but she was denied of her request until the Director gave it to her after more than a decade.
Despite the possible consequences, Thurman gave praises to the Director’s courage of doing what is right.
Thurman added that she is not ready to make amends and is very angry of the cover up that the producers attempted to do, saying they were responsible for all that happened.
