Munroe Bergdorf, the transgender model was recently dropped from a campaign by L'Oréal because of her controversial racist rant that went viral.
She, then choose to reveal the reasons for her FFS (Facial Feminisation Surgery) online, in a series of posts on Twitter.
So, I wanted to be the first to tell you all. Three weeks ago I underwent Facial Feminisation Surgery (FFS), which consisted of multiple surgeries to feminise my facial features and help bring them into harmony with how I see myself on the inside. pic.twitter.com/fSirxZbu2U— Munroe Bergdorf ???????? The brave model, 30, shared her 'newly acquired look' on Twitter and claimed that she waited for seven long years to get the beautiful face she has, now. She also reveals that she encountered numerous surgeries to get her face, the way she always dreamed of.
Born as a boy child, the trans model soon identified himself as a woman and
living as one since 18, in her tweet said, It feels as if a lot of weight has
been put off in a procedure that was carried some three-four weeks ago.
Munroe Bergdorf came into public notice when she became the first transgender L'Oréal ambassador and featured with the philanthropist and former model, Katie Piper, and singer Cheryl Cole in the #allworthit campaign.
Munroe was removed as an ambassador soon after her rant and rave on Facebook, which talked of "ALL white people" and "racist violence".
The after-surgery manifestation of the trans model has garnered more than some
thousand likes and congratulatory messages from her well-wishers around the
world. She can be seen decked up in a nude-colored mini dress paired with a
black jacket, which looks sexy.
In one of her posts, the model says, that her FFS included going under the knife, a multiple times to enhance and accentuate her facial attributes and bring her inner desires of "perfect face" on the outside too.
She also shares how tough the time was for her to wait for seven long years before achieving the desired results.
The reason behind the surgery, apart from her self-satisfaction, is the fact that she has combated with gender dysphoria all throughout her transition and this solution for herself has helped her start a new chapter in her life.
In the series of tweets, she goes on. She believes that undergoing surgery is one's own choice, and not every transgender needs to go through it.
It being one's own choice, felt right to the trans model and she thinks she's lucky and fortunate enough to be able to seize a decision of her choice for her own happiness.
Post her recent transformation, she looks incredibly gorgeous and her fans can't stop adoring her. The beautiful model is also a transgender activist now.
After she has lost the L'Oréal campaign, L'Oréal commented that they support and encourage melange and have due respect for people of all genders, races, religions, and backgrounds.
And because Munroe didn't have the same values as
theirs, they decided to end the collaboration.
