The former make up assistant of Meghan Markle tells us about her solo
rule- no airbrushing of her freckles!
The entire world is on fire with curiosity as to how Meghan Markle is planning to look on the day of her highly awaited wedding to Prince Harry. Her former make-up artist, Lydia F Sellers has however come out with a giant clue as to how she is going swing, make up wise.
Speaking about her two years, when she did the star’s make up, Lydia has stated that Meghan was always very insistent that her freckles were not covered up. The star has gone as far to request that her freckles managed to be visible through make up, and was against a great deal foundation. Her favored beauty product, which Lydia says, was Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation, which was blended, then applied to her skin.
Even though Meghan has retired from her career to become a full-time member of the Royal family, she still maintains the same appearance. For instance, she puts her hair into a low-lying bun, and pulls it off as modern-chic thanks to her flawless confidence.
Meghan has herself stated that she didn’t put on foundation when she wasn’t on set, and has managed to perfect her talent at managing a ‘5-minute face.’ She stated that three make up products she couldn’t do without were Yves St. Laurent’s Touche Eclat, Nars Orgasm’s blush, and Dior show Iconic’s Mascara. She claims that these three have managed to make her look alive even after a seventeen-hour work day.
Her chief irritation is when her freckles are air-brushed out of pictures, as well as when people lighten her skin tone. Thanks to being the interracial child of an Afro-American mother and a white father, directors had always faced a quandary as to what race they should portray her as. Her father however once told her that a face that didn’t have freckles was like a night that lacked stars, and she has obviously taken it to heart.
It’s quite admirable to see Meghan being so confident about her looks, as well as the way she carries herself. There is no doubt she will look stunning on the day of her wedding!
