One of our most favorite British actors of all times, Mr. Tom Hardy, is more than just your typical celebrity.
Being low-key for years, Hardy rarely makes a public appearance and announcement, but he found it necessary to speak up after he found a litter of puppies, thrown out in the cold and left to die.
The ‘Inception’ actor found the whining puppies at Victoria Park in Bow, after which he took them home and posted an Instagram photo with a clear message - the puppies need to find a safe home!
Hardy gave away the puppies to the Battersea Dogs Home, while asking his followers to kick up their humanity and help out.
Hardy explained the puppies were merely 8
weeks old and urged the crowd to go and check them out, so these can be adopted
as soon as possible.
Battersea Dogs Home, a dedicated animal rescue organization is more than thrilled to have more and more celebrities who are partaking in their mission. As a result of Hardy’s engagement in this, all puppies were housed in matter of days.
Many people called the shelter and asked how adoption works and what can be done. The puppies were left out in the cold, exposed to possible hypothermia or dehydration threats, before Hardy spotted them.
The spokesperson for the animal shelter stated the puppies needed some medical care, but with a little care and love, they were back on their feet in no time.
Hardy, who is a true lover of dogs, said his goodbyes to his own dog Woodstock, who passed just last year. Through thick and thin, the two spent roughly eleven years together, and Hardy seemed heartbroken to part ways with his fur baby for good.
Isn’t he just the perfect human being?
