Actress Meryl Streep stepped up to the plate and called for backup after director Steven Spielberg’s house became haunted.
If there's something strange in your neighborhood, who ya gonna call? Apparently, the person you call is actress Meryl Streep. Although it might sound a bit off, the multiple-time Academy Award winning actress has showed her solidarity, and helped the ghost find its path. In fact, when director Steven Spielberg alerted everyone that his house was haunted, Streep rose to the occasion and hired a ghost buster to help Spielberg out.
Oh, Bill Murray must be dying with envy right now. The famous actor got his big break in the ‘Ghostbusters,’ a movie that Streep could have taken too literally in this case.
When Streep and Steven had a chill night in Long Island, Spielberg admitted to have had experiences with ghosts in his house, and at the same time, Streep knew someone who could help.
The two continued discussing the matter, until Spielberg caved in and decided to follow Streep’s lead.
Actually, she send a priest to Steven’s house, and spoke of the problem no more.
She noted that since Spielberg accepted her help, his house remained ghost-free. The last time Streep and Spielberg collaborated was for this year’s ‘The Post,’ and Academy Award nominated movie. Also, Streep scored her 21st Oscar nomination. Streep described working with Spielberg as an improvisatory and exciting experience…in a good way!
The first time around, the duo got together for the making of A.I. Artificial Intelligence, a movie that was not only a blockbuster, but allowed Streep and Spielberg to become close friends as well.
Now, that is what we call an unusual turn
