Mel C, the ex-Spice Girls singer, confirmed that she can’t let her little daughter Scarlett, 9, watch different music videos of different kinds.
In her opinion, these videos are quite dissolute and they propagandize women’s hotness standards.
Mel C, who is also named as Sporty Spice, reveals she wouldn’t like her daughter to see such inappropriate scenes filmed by the popular pop-stars.
According to Mel, the music industry has always propagandized hotness standards, though it is out of control now.
The singer publicly confirmed that she won’t let her little daughter see such videos, despite the fact that Scarlett adores pop-music and knows all the songs' lyrics by heart, not knowing their true meanings.
The pop-star also adds that the music industry moral standards have gone far from those she was witnessing in her times. It is now out of control and there’s no guarantee it will ever be under control now!
A short time ago Mel, whose real name is Melanie Chisholm, expressed her feeling about the #MeToo movement.
The singer confirmed that such kinds of harassment appear when the moral norms fall and there’s no coming back!
Those times it wasn’t so worldwide and as Mel adds, she was a trackie that’s why nothing was happening to her.
Not so long ago there was a scandal based on the unearthed video where the Spice Girls refuse their producer in doing some inappropriate things.
As Melanie recalls now, their producer asked them to put their shirts down and roll their skirts up. Of course, they refused to say that the only thing they’ve ever wanted is to be famous.
According to Mel, women dominate in
any industry now. The most famous people are women; it means that women are
ahead now, though it is quite humiliating for women to film such videos. So a
woman should respect herself and have strong moral principles!
