Robin Williams’s life was not what we always thought it was.
There was a lot more to the gifted actor and comedian par excellence than he let out while he lived.
A new short film Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind is a tribute-of-sorts to the man we marveled at and called brilliant, who left us awe-stricken and baffled by his boundless talent.
The movie comprises old conversations and helps us unravel the maestro’s life in a new light.
The following episodes from his life will throw a fresh perspective on the man Williams really was:
When the need for a queer new
extra-terrestrial character, Mork, arose, owing to the show’s honcho
son’s Star Wars obsession, Williams was discovered. His brilliant performance
was greatly extolled by his audience. Thence, there was no looking back.
Williams was jolted out of his addiction when he learnt about the reason for his friend’s demise.
He lost his quick wit and was no more than a faint shadow of himself towards the end of his life. He passed away on the eleventh day of August, 2014, aged sixty-three.
The factual film culminates
with a video segment from Dead Poet’s Society with the academician
-Williams- saying Carpe Diem! to his scholars.
