Louanne Budgen married Hayley eighteen months ago, and the couple have been together for four years. However, one night, Louanne brutally assaulted her wife in a shocking marital dispute.
Hayley and Louanne had been to a family Christmas celebration together.
Hayley decided to leave the party early, at around nine in the evening, as she wanted to tuck the 3 kids into bed and wish them good night.
However, 3 hours after Hayley departed the party, Louanne ended up following her, and appeared while inebriated at their marital house in Manchester.
She demanded cash from Hayley, ostensibly to pay for a cab, and when it was not given, Louanne ended up dragging Hayley from the bed while gripping her hair tightly.
After this, she ended up punching her wife on her head at least 5 times. She then stormed out of the room.
After this horrifying chain of events, Hayley ended up calling the police. She was in pain, and small bruises were apparent on her skin as well. The police were summoned, just a while before Christmas day.
According to statements made, Hayley wants Louanne to be placed under restraining orders, and went on to state that the relationship had ended with this display. Hayley felt that she could not continue to live with someone who was that violent.
She said that she was deeply saddened by the incident. In the courthouse, Louanne fell into pieces on the stand, and as she cried, stated that she staged her actions on her own terrible childhood, where she had been a witness to domestic abuses.
She also stated that she suffered from Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome, which messed with how her ovaries worked.
Despite all this, the couple have gotten back together, citing their desire to give their three children the love of both parents.
Apparently Louanne has been convicted 5 times before this, including once on a charge of criminal damage plus assault. However, there was no prior issue of her being violent domestically to her wife Hayley.
According to Louanne’s lawyer, she has practically no remembrance of anything that had occurred that night, but she will still seek aid to help her contend with the issue.
She was finally told by the court to do twelve months of community service, as well as pay one hundred and seventy pounds in costs.
The judge went on to caution her about not
repeating this, and ensuring that her past does not affect her children’s lives
