The established bassist lost his life at 76, in wake of a fall on the stairs.
The news came in wake of his most recent concert in England.
Jim Rodford, the leading bassist of renowned bands ‘The Kinks’ and ‘The Zombies,’ has deceased recently.
The tradegy was caused by the consequences of the falling down the stairs. More than sixty years this person dedicated to the music, eighteen of which were spent at ‘The Kinks’ alone.
His final performance was on 14 January, while he was on a mini-trip with his other band, ‘The Zombies.’
His relative and lead singer of the band, Rod Argent, wrote that Jim will be forever missed, and that the cause of the departure was a fall down the stairs.
Argent further noted that the time they spent together in the band has been one of the most extraordinary experiences of their lives.
Jim, who has a 56-year-long marriage behind him, was in the process of writing his autobiography before his passing.
Aside from ‘The Zombies,’ Dave Davies, who worked with Rodford in ‘The Kinks,' wrote a saddening post, saying he is particularly disturbed with the news.
May he finds a heavenly nook with plenty of
good music. Rest in peace, Sir, and thank you.
