By breaking cultural barriers, L’Oreal Paris has elevated advertising to its next level. The beauty giant is rooting for inclusion -and multiplicity- in its latest promotional drive.
The Elvive range is the latest to enter the market under the auspices of L’Oreal Paris…and, it has an interesting advert. The hair care commercial features a host of women from all walks of life, including one (and this is significant) wearing a scarf on her head.
The message is explicit: women do not take care of their hair with the sole intention of displaying their lustrous manes. Subliminally, the advertisement also drives home the fact that women behind the veil are people too, with strong voices that matter!
Amena Khan, hailing from Britain is the hijab-clad face of the beauty brand.
