In the city of Minnesota, United States, Angie Whitley, was happy to have bought a house for her children. She did not suspect for an instant that she would live an alarming reality.
The residence was nice and cozy, but it was not expected what was waiting inside.
Following a Newsner press release, Angie, a single mother, rejoined her new home joyfully after acquiring it with great efforts, after having lived many years rented. She redecorated, bought new things, made remodels and there she began to live with her children. Suddenly, she began to hear strange noises coming from her room. What could it be? She wondered.
When she came to the place from which the scary sound came, she was astonished to see that it was a small snake. Quickly, and before the eyes of this housewife, they reproduced and appeared more and more. "Suddenly two, three, four, and more began to appear. Six months later I had found about 95 snakes," Angie told CBS.
Thinking that it was an epidemic of the area, the woman communicated promptly with the pest exterminators, since it was not the first time that it happened, but in repeated opportunities.
When first seen, they were taken out, but apparently the grotto they came from was located in the basement, near a swamp, as CBS reports.
Different media made this news viral. Whitley told reporters that in demanding an explanation from the owners of the property, their response was not to be aware of what happened. They said that "they did not know anything, because they had rented the place a long time ago."However, it is not possible that someone does not know what happens there if the house is inhabited. Therefore, Angie agreed to see a lawyer and would file a fraudulent sale lawsuit.
The troubled woman made arrangements for the house, over $13,000, to completely close the basement which was where the snakes came from.
Inspect a house thoroughly before buying
According to the Daily Mail reports that Whitley inspected the house, valued at $ 238,000, did not perceive this dangerous situation. Since the snakes did not emerge at that moment, or did not stay long enough for them to see them. Likewise, it is unusual for the owners of the house not to worry about what happened, and even more that they did not know that situation.
Follow these tips if you do not want to encounter a similar problem when buying a home, as recommended by the Clarín portal:
· Inspect all rooms thoroughly and manage to get out of any uncertainty before legalizing the purchase.
· Pay attention to the smallest detail before you inhabit a house.· Check the type of materials used for its construction.
· Focus, research and talk with neighbors, about the suburb, the area, history, details that the seller may not know, among others.
Do not acquire any material good without full knowledge. Inquire everything you need, and most importantly, see if there is a breed of vipers inside!
And you, what would you have done if you were in her shoes?
