Carmin is one of the most successful Peruvian telenovelas. After its premiere, it impulsed the careers of the protagonists, Robert Moll and Patricia Pereyra.
It has been more than 30 years since it premiered in 1985. The story was about Fiorella, a young lady who ends up falling in love with her professor.
Carmin opened doors for Patricia to new projects in the acting industry. After recording Carmin, the actress, 17, went to Mexico so she could star in more series.
After she arrived to Mexico, the actress starred in the "Vivir un poco (Live a little)" telenovela. Then, she appeared in "Rosa Salvaje (Wild Rose)", along with Veronica Castro. Then, she acted in the series "Amor en Silencio (Silent Love)".
In 1989, she acted along with Salma Hayek in "Teresa" and then in 1990 in "Amor de Nadie (Nobody's love)”.
In 1993, she acted as the villain in "Capricho (Caprice)". Then, she starred in "Travesuras del Corazon" and acted in "Hablame de Amor (Let's talk about love)". In 2002, she acted for the last time in telenovela "Cara o Cruz".
Then, the actress decided to leave her work as an actress and she dedicated
herself to be a mother after giving birth to her daughter. In 2005, she debuted
as a Documentalist with "Huantar".
Patricia has studied art history, cinema and restoration and conservation of archaeological objects in well-known educational institutions. She is currently dedicated to promoting the culture development in her origin country, Peru. She's also a mother and wife.
