The phrase that says that “the beating of a butterfly's wings in Strasbourg may sometimes unleash hurricane thousands of miles away” has been proved for Raimundo Arruda Sobrinho.
Raimundo is a
homeless guy that has been living in extreme poverty for more than 35 years. However,
he is also a passionate man that never lost his faith.
It seems that this man has always liked to write, writing poems and short stories as a hobby.
He likes to create poems and stories or to transcribe his thoughts. When it comes to getting his work 'published' he prefers to give his creations to random people.
One day in 2011, a passerby, a woman named Shallah, noticed that the homeless was always writing. They say that “curiosity killed the cat” and the woman, summoned up her courage and asked the man about his writings.
Raimundo did not say a word and gave her a piece of paper. She grabbed it and saw that there was a beautiful poem written on the paper.
Nothing was quite the same for Raimundo after he met Shallah. A few months later, the homeless was found by a lost brother of him. The missing brother helped Raimundo Arruda Sobrinho and offered a place to stay.
he is a world-famous writer and a beloved brother. This is like a good love
story that it is always worth waiting for.
